50 Most Common Irregular Verbs

   Most verbs are Regular Verbs (where the past tense ends in -ed).  Irregular (means not regular) verbs are more difficult to remember, because there are no rules, and usually the past tense does not end in -ed).

This does not include the very common irregular verb to be.  We will practice with that another time.

Irregular verbs also have past participles that are difficult to remember.  If you would like to practice these irregular verbs with both past tense and past participles (eat, ate, eaten), you can use this Quizlet.
